
Mia started her career in media as a Radio Producer and Presenter, also weaving in some short film directing and Publicity & Event Coordinator roles with community and non-government organisations on a range of environmental and social causes.
With a strong interest in documentary and sharing stories through visual and aural mediums, Mia left Melbourne for Sydney to study Sound Design at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
It was at AFTRS that Mia found others with a desire to create media that matters; and now as a part of Nurtured Earth, Mia hopes to channel her creativity into your projects to help shape your stories into something special.
Emma has been a passionate environmentalist since her childhood when she would sing water saving songs through the bathroom door to her father in the shower.
Since then she also developed a passion for filmmaking and has been editing independent short dramas, docos and corporate video for over ten years. In 2009 Emma studied editing at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School where she met many other talented craftsmen & women.
Nurtured Earth Productions is a venture that combines both Emma’s passion for film and the environment and turns her talent towards producing.
Emma wants to help give a voice to the causes and businesses that will help to make a positive impact in this world.
Daniel has been an IT professional in the media industry since 1999, working at places like Beyond Online and SBS TV in online video streaming, interactive and custom business application development.
A keen musician and sound recordist for many years, Daniel undertook advanced location sound courses at AFTRS in 2009 working on AFTRS productions in 2009 and has been sound recording on short films and documentaries since 2008.
Daniel is a passionate environmentalist, has undertaken Permaculture Design Certificate training and would like use his skills in sustainability to provide film production services while also keeping production sustainable and at a low footprint.
